“ I think this is a hidden gem. Very affordable and very good food. I really enjoyed the calamari. And my friend also liked the meat. Very soft. The waiter was also friendly. Would recommend ”
“ Wow! What a surprise. The place looks nothing special, just a regular looking cafe/restaurant with a few tables outside on the pavement. But, the food we ordered was so good. I’ve lived in Spain for 6 years and the Carillada (pork cheeks in sauce) was the best I have ever had. And the spinach and chickpeas (espinacas con garbanzos) were sensational! When our waiter asked if I wanted a copy of the bill, I said no, I’d like a copy of the recipe for the spinach and chickpeas! No chance, said he. Great food and inexpensive. ”
“ Alejandro was our waiter and it was a great experience. He was very courteous, food was delicious and the beer was cold. It has outdoor sitting and very centric ”
“ Just finished our 5 pm lunch. We ordered house salad, Mediterranean salad, grilled swordfish and grilled calamari. Every meal was very tasty. Keep in mind this place isn’t high end one but quality of food and service are very good. Thank you for this place it’s open when majority of restaurants are closed from 4-5pm to 20pm. Sangria is good as well. Highly recommend ”
“ Great little pavement cafe/restaurant - stopped in for a few tapas. The salmorejo was one of the best I've had. Service prompt and friendly. Atmosphere good, only reason 4* instead of 5* is it's a very busy pavement but as long as you like the buzz and don't mind people passing very closely all the time, it's fine. ”
